Following ‘Christ’ on Eastern Roads/New Apostolic Reformation Roads

I stumbled across this downloadable pdf the other night and thought, ‘gosh, this is a beauty’ - in the sense that it ties in nicely with another article I posted:  http://discerningtheworld.wordpress.com/2008/05/27/the-latter-rain-revival-taking-dominion-with-another-gospel-and-another-christ.

We are living in the end-times, there is no doubt about that.   There is only 1 question that remains;  which ‘Christ’ are you following?

FOLLOWING CHRIST ON EASTERN ROADS

LOVING OUR GLOBAL NEIGHBORS STARTS WHEN WE
RECOGNIZE GOD’S IMAGE — AND PRESENCE — IN THEM,
BE THEY BUDDHIST, HINDU, OR MUSLIM.

The Latter Rain Revival - Taking Dominion with another Gospel and another Christ

Please read the below and watch and pray!  I know a lot of good people caught up in this, thinking that what these ‘pastors’ are preaching is ok and they can’t see any harm in it.  They can’t see any harm in it because the scriptures quoted by these ‘pastors’ sounds ok, logical and scritpural as well.  The think because scripture was used to back it up, it must be true and why would a pastor of all people twist scripture or lie - he is a man of God.  And they believe all this to be true because they don’t study the bible and weigh and test to make sure they are not being spoon fed another religion, one that is pathing the way for the anti-Christ’s grand entrance.

We who believe in the Gospel of Jesus Christ, i.e., ‘the old way’ will be persecuted / ’slaughtered’ by these ‘pastors’ and their followes because we refuse to accept the ‘move into the supernatural’ and their ‘new wineskin’.  Are you going to be the persecutor or the persecuted?  Are you going to follow these evil men and their demonic ’Christ’ or are you going to follow Jesus Christ?

There are so many supposed men/women of God who believe in taking Dominion - in fact there are so many, that when I tried to make a list of all the names of wellknown ministers, I had to stop at 400 names, because I realised that I would either run out of paper or ink in my pen before I ran out of names.  Some call it by this name ‘Dominion/Kingdom Now’ etc., others don’t use this terminology at all and subtly preach it to their congregation without them realising it.  Todd Bently’s mentor and ’spiritual father’ is none other than Bob Jones - one of the masterminds behind the GREAT DECEPTION.

Sadhu Sundar Singh - Hindu Mystic in Sheeps Clothing

I have come across quite a few ‘Christian’ websites who think that Sadhu Sundar Singh was truly a man of God.  I’ve spent hours and hours reading about his life and his beliefs and I will say this;  if someone knocks on your door dressed in a yellow robe preaching Jesus Christ, don’t open the door!!

On the surface it would appear that Sundar Singh was truly a man of God, he was ostracised by his family for ‘converting’ to Christianity after he had a vision of Jesus Christ in his bedroom, he was Baptised, he took on the life of a Sadhu, barefoot, roaming from village to village preaching and he spent many a month in prison or thrown into a well for preaching the Gospel, until one day he just vanished into thin air (not in a mystic kinda way, no he left for a trip to Tibet and was not seen again).

However, under the surface we find a man who could not let go of his Hindu background, incorporating Hindu mystic teaching and ideas with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

I will now briefly analyse his life and his teachings:

Tithing is Not a Christian Doctrine

by Russell Earl Kelly, Ph. D.   www.shouldthechurchteachtithing.com

Introduction:

The following essay is a summary of my book, Should the Church Teach Tithing? A Theologian’s Conclusions about a Taboo Doctrine. The book itself is a greatly expanded version of my Ph. D. thesis. I encourage Bible educators to be bold, to open up their seminary level research and to promote studies on this subject in the Masters, Doctorate and Ph. D. levels. This doctrine is simply too important to ignore.

In many churches today the doctrine of tithing has reached the level of a modern scandal. While on the one hand, most seminary-level textbooks on systematic theology and hermeneutics by highly educated theologians omit tithing, on the other hand, the practice is quickly becoming a requirement for church membership in the very denominations which insist on solid Bible-based doctrines. There is also increasing evidence that lay persons who question the legitimacy of New Covenant tithing are usually criticized and ignored as being troublemakers or weak Christians. Sincere Christian leaders should always be open and available to discuss God’s Word. Failure to do suggests doubt and insecurity. More “holy boldness” is needed.

Todd Bentley - Emma move over, Sundar Singh is in the house!

And the plot thickens!  Things seem to be disappearing at a ‘revival’ rate from Todd Bentley’s website.  People from all over the world have spotted his estranged beliefs mentioned by none other than Todd himself on his website, only to have Todd remove them from his site.  When people noticed that links they pointed too no longer worked they began questioning this as well, only to have Todd put the article back somewhere else (which people found again).  I can only imagine what Todd was thinking when he did this - obviously not much thinking was going on.

Emma meet Sundar Singh, Sundar Singh meet Emma.  Hahaha.  Actually this is no laughing matter.  This is Todd Bentley ‘posing’ as a Christian when in fact he is nothing but a false teacher/prophet.

Marjoe Gortner vs Todd Bentley - Brings New Meaning to the Word “Revival”

I am sure ‘most’ people in the USA know who Marjoe Gortner is.  I and many others around the world have never heard of him.  But he is an important piece in ‘faith healing’ puzzle, just as important as William Brenham is with his ‘mantle’ that everyone so willingly likes to accept and wrap around their ‘undiscerning’ shoulders without ‘testing the spirits’ as per 1 John.

Add ’signs and wonder seekers’ with fleshy emotions, hypnotism, mesmerism, William Brenham’s mantle and an angel called Emma and you have a Todd Bentley ‘revival’ (amongst others).  One where the healing is part ‘hypnotic’ and part ‘demonic’.   Problem is you will never know where your healing come from, until one day you find your health worse off than before, your spiritual life on a fast road to destruction and the church were the ’anointing’ took place in shambles, for you ignored God’s warnings and invited Satan in for a free joy ride - cos it all just a ‘huge’ party!

Please note I also believe that Hypnotism is demonic as well, so either way you have a problem on yours hands.

Marjoe Gortner was the first Evangelical preacher to blow the whistle on his profession. In his documentary film, Marjoe, made in the late sixties, he revealed age-old tricks of the trade and exposed some of the entertainment aspects of the popular movement that have made it big business.

John Hagee Expresses “Deep Regret” to Catholics

Ecumenism here we come.  One day soon John Hagee will be worshipping Mary and kissing the Pope’s feet - if he isn’t already.  The author of slaughteringthesheep.wordpress.com said it very well:  “We need pastors and teachers who stand in the face of opposition in the same manner that Peter, Paul, and the other disciples who were willing to give their lives rather than compromise for the sake of unity.”

You either stand up for Jesus Christ or you don’t - there is NO middle road.

Have You Seen This Pastor?

I found this on Lavrai.com and I thought I would post this on my site for it’s a classic.  Thanks Lavrai!

Have you seen this Pastor?

Have you seen this man? He may be leading your church… away from GOD. Does your pastor preach about money more than he does salvation? Does he talk about ‘healing angels’ and being taken up to ‘heaven?’ Is he always trying to put his hands on you to impart an ‘anointing?’ Please take a good look at this photo and keep the imagery in mind. You may just run into this man (or woman) the next time you are in church.

The Path of Truth - to where?

I had the misfortune recently to be contacted by Paul Cohen from a website called The Path of Truth http://www.thepathoftruth.com of which Victor Hafichuk is his partner in crime.  To cut a long story short I am now on their ‘doo doo’ list for disagreeing with them.  The email communication started out ok, but then turned into a bit of a nightmare for I am now branded an unbeliever who needs to be saved.  Which is funny because they don’t believe in eternal damnation.  So everyone is going to heaven.  YAY! for everyone, myself included (as per their belief).

So lets go have a look at their website shall we and pull out some important comments they have made with regards to their beliefs:

They have a page on their website dedicated to the question:  ‘Are we a Cult?”

They say, “Could it be because we believe in the reconciliation of all things as surely testified of in Scripture, a wonderful hope and promise for all? This doctrine is certainly contrary to the diabolical doctrine of eternal torment for the majority of mankind, as taught by mainstream nominal Christendom. It also, in one fell swoop, condemns any and all forms of self-righteousness. It is a hard thing for one to truly believe that he is no more righteous than any other.”

Righty, firstly it’s written all over the bible that there is a hell and people are going to go there if they don’t accept Jesus Christ.  Secondly, by saying this they DENY what Jesus Christ did on the cross, i.e., if we are all going to live happily ever after then why do we need Jesus Christ?  Confusing, yes I know…especially when they tell you, you are an unbeliever.  Errr…

Scriptures to Remember - That will help keep you safe from deception

I actually had these verses at the bottom of another article but for the last few weeks I seem to have this constant ‘reminder’ in my head that I need to post these as a separate article.  So here they are.  As time goes by and time permitting I will add to this article, specifying important verses that you need to remember to keep you safe when it comes to the deception that is taking place in the church.

SCRIPTURES TO REMEMBER

  • When people tell you that Jesus is actually showing up or they saw Jesus in a vision etc., remember this:

Mat 24 v 23-27   ”23 Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not.  24 For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall show great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.  25 Behold, I have told you before.  26 Wherefore if they shall say unto you, Behold, he is in the desert; go not forth: behold, he is in the secret chambers; believe it not.  27 For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.”   (i.e., we will NOT see Jesus again in ANY form until his second coming and at such time every eye will see him at the same time) Read the rest of this entry »
