The Path of Truth - to where?

I had the misfortune recently to be contacted by Paul Cohen from a website called The Path of Truth http://www.thepathoftruth.com of which Victor Hafichuk is his partner in crime.  To cut a long story short I am now on their ‘doo doo’ list for disagreeing with them.  The email communication started out ok, but then turned into a bit of a nightmare for I am now branded an unbeliever who needs to be saved.  Which is funny because they don’t believe in eternal damnation.  So everyone is going to heaven.  YAY! for everyone, myself included (as per their belief).

So lets go have a look at their website shall we and pull out some important comments they have made with regards to their beliefs:

They have a page on their website dedicated to the question:  ‘Are we a Cult?”

They say, “Could it be because we believe in the reconciliation of all things as surely testified of in Scripture, a wonderful hope and promise for all? This doctrine is certainly contrary to the diabolical doctrine of eternal torment for the majority of mankind, as taught by mainstream nominal Christendom. It also, in one fell swoop, condemns any and all forms of self-righteousness. It is a hard thing for one to truly believe that he is no more righteous than any other.”

Righty, firstly it’s written all over the bible that there is a hell and people are going to go there if they don’t accept Jesus Christ.  Secondly, by saying this they DENY what Jesus Christ did on the cross, i.e., if we are all going to live happily ever after then why do we need Jesus Christ?  Confusing, yes I know…especially when they tell you, you are an unbeliever.  Errr…

Scriptures to Remember - That will help keep you safe from deception

I actually had these verses at the bottom of another article but for the last few weeks I seem to have this constant ‘reminder’ in my head that I need to post these as a separate article.  So here they are.  As time goes by and time permitting I will add to this article, specifying important verses that you need to remember to keep you safe when it comes to the deception that is taking place in the church.

SCRIPTURES TO REMEMBER

  • When people tell you that Jesus is actually showing up or they saw Jesus in a vision etc., remember this:

Mat 24 v 23-27   ”23 Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not.  24 For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall show great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.  25 Behold, I have told you before.  26 Wherefore if they shall say unto you, Behold, he is in the desert; go not forth: behold, he is in the secret chambers; believe it not.  27 For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.”   (i.e., we will NOT see Jesus again in ANY form until his second coming and at such time every eye will see him at the same time) Read the rest of this entry »

Choo Thomas - Evil Shows Another Side - Kundalini vs The Holy Spirit

I was driving home from work yesterday evening listening to the radio when the DJ said ‘Evil shows another side’.  I actually have no idea what he was talking about as I had just tuned from one radio station to another, but it got me thinking.  Evil has indeed shown another side in the ‘church’ and it ties in with a comment I read the night before last on a blog, about a Christian woman who had a ’spiritual impartation’ from a ’Christian’ TV show she was watching and though it was from God.  Unfortunately it turned out it was not from God and she is suffering terribly as she tries to free herself from a demonic spirit that mimics all the ’supposedly’ Godly things you are told to ‘trust’ - because ‘Jesus/God’ told them to tell you that ‘it’s ok, this is good’, so you must now believe.

Now if you go into your local Christian bookstore, chances are you will find many a book about someone who is having some weird manifestation and even here in South Africa the acceptance of these strange workings is beginning to take hold (it’s possibly worse than what I think it is).   People who read these books or attend these gatherings where these strange manifestations are taking place are so convinced that what they are reading or seeking or experiencing is from God because they;

Oprah Winfrey - New Age Priestess with her own Church

I have to thank LaVrai.com for sending me a link to this video.  My oh my, it just gets worse and worse by the day.  Oprah is indeed using her media powers to persuade millions of people that Jesus does not exist and all religions lead to one God.

After I watched his video I sat back in my chair for a good few minutes trying to comprehend what I had just watched.  Not that I didn’t understand what she was saying, no, no, no I was trying to imagine the millions upon millions upon millions of people who are going to hell because they tossed aside the Word of God for Oprah Winfrey’s words of ‘wisdom’ instead.  I am horrified beyond belief - so many confused ‘Christians’ (who love not the truth because they choose an anti-Christ way of thinking instead).

Quotes from the video in which Oprah says:

    1.   “One of the mistakes people make is believing there is only one way…”

    2.   “…and many paths to what you call God.”

    3.   “I believe that God is Love and God is in all things.” (’Author’s note:  God is Love’ is a typical spiritualistic saying)

Grieving for the Lost Gospel of Jesus Christ

Many that frequent this site would have noticed that I have disabled the comments on all articles.  For the last two weeks I have been struck by immense grief and sadness with regards to the amount of deceived believers that comment on my website.  I started this blog for those who are ’seeking’ the truth not for those who don’t care about the truth, so to be constantly lambasted by those who just don’t love the truth has taken it’s toll on me.  Not because I am tired of having to defend the Gospel of Jesus Christ but because I am deeply grieved by the thousands of possibly once true believers in the Gospel of Jesus Christ who have pushed aside the Holy Spirit (if He was even there in the first place) for another spirit that now guides their thinking.

I am told I am unloving and judgemental and full of hatred and causing a division amongst the church when in fact I love everyone so much that I would stick my neck out and rebuke those who are lying and leading believers astray.  I cried myself to sleep last night while praying asking God what does one need to do or say in order for people to see the lies intermingled with His Word.  The answer to my plea was the verse:

2 Thessalonians 2 v 10-12 “…They perish because they refused to love the truth and so be saved. 11 For this reason God sends them a powerful delusion so that they will believe the lie 12 and so that all will be condemned who have not believed the truth but have delighted in wickedness.
